Blog Vacation

It's time for a blog vacation.

In my last couple of posts I've mentioned that I'm uninspired. I don't want DeuceMotherhood to drift off into obscurity, because I've had fun with this.

So I'm taking a month-long hiatus to focus on life, get back in the swing of taking some photos and refocus on what DeuceMotherhood really means to me so that those things can be reflected here in some sort of format.

Thanks for reading. I'll most likely keep reading blogs, so if you stalk me here and would like me to stalk you back, leave a comment.

See you October 9!

Must. Not. Nap.

I am sick. The summer cold I mentioned yesterday. I have pick eye this morning (ew!!!) and kept Deuce home because his eye was a little crusty (ew!!!) this morning. He's going to the ped at 3:00 and is taking a nap right now. Great kid.

I'm so jealous. I want to take a nap. I'm sick after all. But I won't.
  • Naps make me feel worse after I get up
  • I made a pile of "stuff" to put away
  • The kitchen floor needs mopping
  • I should prob call my doctor to find out what the hell is wrong with me
  • I will accomplish nothing once Deuce wakes up

Pep talk time!

I'm an adult - a tough one who can do things like remain conscious during daylight hours! I love to accomplish and this is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy peace and quiet while doing things that will make me happy when they're done! That's the spirit! One-two-three-PRIDE!

I need a shower

Not a mental shower, sicko, an actual spray the driveway slime off shower.

You may have noticed I'm not posting very frequently lately. I haven't really had too much blog-worthy going on. Just sort of leading a quiet normal existance, plus one summer cold. Second one this summer.

Anyhow, I came home from work, petted Claude, ate spaghetti and meatballs, started washing the cars, then abandoned them in favor of splashing in a bucket of water with Deuce. He had his own separate clean-water bucket, and the soapy bucket was in the bed of the truck. You can take that idea and call it your own. Go ahead.

Anyhow, eventually I got out the sprinkler and then it was all-in. Hopefully Deuce is tired. I know I am.

Oh, and anyone who can point me to the camera battery charger wins. Wins what? Anything you want. For life.
